The Ecomuseum of the Pistoia Mountains combines museums, educational centres, and historical artefacts that help to understand the Pistoia Mountains through the evidence left by the relationship between humans and the environment over the centuries.
Partially rebuilt in the 18th century by Filippo Achilli, to whom it owes its name, Palazzo Achilli - apart from being the central information point of the Ecomuseum - is also seat to temporary exhibitions and to educational laboratories for adults and children.
