DESCRIPTION:From Saturday\, March 8\, to Sunday\, July 27\, 2025\, at Palazzo Buontalenti\, discover the exhibition Daniel Buren. Fare\, Disfare\, Rifare. Lavori in situ e situati 1968-2025. The exhibition is curated by Daniel Buren and Monica Preti. \nThis exhibition offers a journey through the work of Daniel Buren\, exploring ten rooms and the palace’s inner courtyard with a selection of pictorial works (1965-1967)\, two Cabanes (1985 and 2000/2019)\, high-reliefs\, recent luminous works\, and a room dedicated to project drawings created in Tuscany. The exhibition focuses on Buren’s connection with Italy and Tuscany\, presenting revisited and recreated works by the artist in a continuous process of Faire\, Défaire\, Refaire (Do\, Undo\, Redo). \nPalazzo Buontalenti will be the central hub of the exhibition\, from which the journey will extend to other Pistoia Musei venues with new site-specific works. The exhibition will also establish an ideal connection with the interventions that Daniel Buren has carried out in the region since the 2000s\, such as the fountain Muri Fontane a tre colori pour un hexagone (2005-2011) in the park of Villa La Magia in Quarrata and La Cabane Éclatée aux Quatre Salles (2005) in the Gori Collection – Fattoria di Celle in Santomato\, Pistoia. \nThe exhibition will be accompanied by a program of related activities and a catalog\, which will also include an interview with Daniel Buren conducted by Monica Preti. \nThe exhibition is organized by the Fondazione Pistoia Musei\, with the support of Fondazione Caript and in collaboration with Galleria Continua. \nInfo\nPistoia Musei \nPhoto credit: Lorenzo Fiaschi.
