The traditional event for young and old returns on time on January 6, Epiphany Day, in Pistoia.
Eyes will be pointed upward to the top of the bell tower of the Cathedral of San Zeno in the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the historic and artistic heart of the city of Pistoia.
At 4:30 p.m. the Befana will descend from the bell tower to celebrate with children and hand out sweets and candy. She will be helped on her descent, as usual, by the Provincial Command of the Pistoia Fire Department.
The event is free and is part of the Pistoia, Christmas in the City event.
