Serravalle Jazz is coming back, as in the past under the artistic direction of Maurizio Tuci, on 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st August.
On Sunday 30th August, the programme will be the Mingus 100 seminar with Francesco Martinelli and the Barga Jazz Orchestra directed by Mario Raja with John Surman as his guest of honour.
On Monday 29th August: Soul Voices Experience in the afternoon; and X-JAM Band for Divas Soul & Blues Night, in the evening.
On Tuesday 30th August, Nico Gori will interview Maestro Enrico Rava who, at some time in the evening, will receive the Renato Sellani VII Award and will perform in a concert.
On Wednesday 31st August, a video screening of previous editions of Serravalle Jazz will precede the Riccardo Fassi Florence Pocket Orchestra‘s concert.
Free shuttle service (Masotti Chemist area/Serravalle village) on each of the festival’s four evenings, from 8.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. In case of rain, the concerts will take place somewhere else.
