Sunday, July 5, 2026, as part of the 45th edition of the Pistoia Blues Festival, JET, the renowned Australian band led by Nic Cester, will take the stage for their first performance in Piazza del Duomo.
Originally from Dingley, Melbourne, JET formed in 2001 and quickly conquered the world, selling over 6.5 million albums and earning multiple Platinum certifications in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. Their debut album, Get Born (2003), produced classic singles such as Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Rollover DJ, and Look What You’ve Done, earning the band 6 ARIA Awards in 2004.
Their second album, Shine On (2006), features tracks like Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Bring It On Back, and Rip It Up, reaching Platinum status in Australia and establishing the band as a headliner at festivals and international tours.
In 2023, on the 20th anniversary of Get Born, JET returned to live performance after five years, playing the album in full and celebrating the songs that made them famous worldwide. That same year, the band was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
Famous for the international hit Are You Gonna Be My Girl and their debut album, JET deliver classic rock blues influenced by their fellow Australians, AC/DC.
