For the 43rd edition of the Pistoia Blues Festival, on Thursday 11 July at 9 pm, double show with Mario Biondi and Dee Dee Bridgewater. The musicians, with their respective shows, will perform with the best soul, blues and jazz music.
Mario Biondi returns on the stage of the Duomo square after the 2010 show. On this new occasion he will bring his Crooning – the Italian tour, a unique show in which 18 orchestra musicians will perform on stage without amplification, to give the public an unique experience.
The repertoire will include songs of the new album Crooning Undercover and his greatest hits, arranged specifically for this live project.
First time on the Blues stage, the jazz music icon Dee Dee Bridgewater: American singer originally from Memphis, considered one of the great female voices of jazz.
Winner of three Grammy® and numerous other awards, the singer has collaborated with all the greatest musicians in the world and, in addition to being a jazz icon, she is a theater star, cultural ambassador and tireless humanitarian.
