Pistoia Medioevo 1322 – Tempus Pacis

On Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, 2025, Pistoia Medioevo 1322 – Tempus Pacis returns, an event dedicated to the dissemination and exploration of the medieval history of the city of Pistoia, held since 2012.

During the weekend, Piazza del Duomo will be decorated and animated by historical reenactors from all over Italy.

Saturday, September 20

9:30 a.m., San Jacopo in Castellare – Bread in Medieval Pistoia: Production, Consumption, and Regulation.
Institutional Greetings and Opening Conference – Pistoia Society of National History, Assipan.
Themed tastings will be offered by the Italian Association of Bakers and Related Crafts.

12:30 PM – Special opening of the Pistoia State Archives
3:30 PM – Departure of the Historical Procession
From Piazza San Francesco to Piazza Duomo
4:00 PM – Groups enter, opening of the camps and the market with traditional activities
