An ideal experience for those wishing to discover the most authentic and unspoiled soul of the Acquerino Reserve. Led by Stefano Gabryel.

An authentic immersion into the wildest nature of the Pistoia Apennines, among majestic beech forests, crystal-clear streams, and the evocative silence of the woods.

The Riserva Naturale Biogenetica di Acquerino, the green heart of the Pistoia Mountains, is a true sanctuary of biodiversity, also known as the “Kingdom of the Deer.” Here, in autumn, you can hear the distinctive roar of the stag during the rutting season. Its forests also provide refuge for many other animal species, including the fascinating Apennine wolf.

Under the expert guidance of Stefano Gabryel, discover the Reserve along a route that winds through well-marked CAI trails, crossing ancient forests and historically rich sites such as the remains of the medieval Monastery of Glozanno, now part of the Stone Itinerary of the Ecomuseum of the Pistoia Mountains.
