On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Teatro Il Moderno in Agliana raises the curtain on its new season with Toscana Gospel Festival – The Women of God, a heartfelt production by O Cine della Cultura.
The Women of God is a nine-member ensemble, six singers and three musicians, offering a true portrait in time: a journey through the sounds of a bygone era and a celebration of a musical genre that has both revolutionized and inspired the world.
On stage, the voices and rhythms of Mahalia Jackson, Clara Ward, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe resonate once more, carrying the timeless message of the Good News and a spirit of love and peace.
